The revenue generated will be allocated to address the repercussions of over-tourism, uphold cleanliness in public areas, and confront pressing issues within various neighborhoods and districts.
In practical terms, visitors can anticipate an average tax of €21.80 ($22.91 USD) per night, calculated based on an average room rate of €175 ($183.90 USD).
This represents a noteworthy increase from the prior average tax of €15.25 ($16.03 USD) per night. For cruise passengers, their tax will also experience an upswing, rising from €8 ($8.41 USD) to €11 ($11.56 USD) per person per day.
